Meet Lena

Over the years I’ve supported many people with healing from trauma, shifting limiting beliefs and self-defeating patterns, and building a life that feels genuinely their own. I have also developed and facilitated various therapeutic and mental-health related psychoeducational groups and workshops. My background spans NHS services, forensic mental health, addiction treatment, and private practice, working with individuals and couples on anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship or attachment difficulties. My approach is results-driven, helping people move beyond simply coping and surviving, towards overcoming challenges, discovering their potential, and thriving.

In 2007, after overcoming my own personal challenges, I made myself a promise: to pursue my true calling, help others overcome their struggles, and live a life that is truly their own, without accumulating regrets. My approach to therapy is shaped as much by my lived experiences as by my clinical training. I work from a place of compassion, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s path, blending highly regarded evidence-based methods with the understanding that only comes from having been on the other side of real struggle. I’m committed to offering a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. My aim isn’t just to offer symptom management and relief, but to support you in achieving clarity, breaking free from limiting beliefs that are keeping you stuck, building resilience, and leading a life aligned with what actually matters to you.

I Work With

  • Anxiety-related issues (OCD, stress and burnout, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, health anxiety, public speaking etc.)
  • Trauma (PTSD, Complex PTSD, single-event trauma, relational trauma)
  • Self-esteem issues (imposter syndrome, perfectionism, low self-worth, confidence etc.)
  • Addiction (drug and alcohol addiction, gambling, internet, sex and porn addiction, and other behavioural addictions)
  • Relationship difficulties and attachment issues

Alongside my clinical work, I’ve continued to train and research. Here’s a little about the path that’s shaped how I practice today.
